PAIKKA Seawool Shirt GREEN is a comfortable functional dog shirt made from innovative Seawool™ material that uses recycled plastic bottles and oyster shells.
The warmer back covers large muscle groups, the stretchy belly section does not restrict everyday movement, and the overall fit is suitable for walks, travelling, rest and layering under other clothing.

Seawool™ is not conventional wool
The name may sound like “sea wool”, but it is not conventional animal wool. Seawool™ is an innovative textile using oyster shells and recycled plastic bottles.
For the specific Seawool Shirt GREEN, insulating, antibacterial and antistatic properties are stated. The material is soft and suitable for functional clothing in cooler conditions.
Two materials for warmth and freedom of movement
The shirt is not made from the same textile across its entire surface. A warmer section on the back is complemented by a softer, stretchier ribbed area on the belly.
Warm back
The back section has a soft, fleece-like surface and covers the dog's large muscle groups.
Stretchy belly
A blend of cotton, Seawool™ and elastane creates a soft ribbed section that adapts better to movement.

The back material consists of 78% Seawool™ and 22% polyester.

On its own in cold weather or as an additional layer
Seawool Shirt is suitable as a standalone warm shirt in dry, cooler weather, when the dog does not need a heavily insulated winter jacket.
In rain or colder conditions, it can be used as a warm layer under a raincoat or winter garment. This makes it practical from autumn through winter to cooler spring days.
Comfortable fit for everyday movement
Adjustable neckline
The neck area can be adjusted to the dog's individual build so the shirt does not stand away from the body unnecessarily.
Rear securing straps
Straps around the hind legs help keep the rear part of the shirt in the correct position.
Adjustable back length
According to the instructions for this cut, the length can be shortened by approximately 5 cm.
Stretchy belly section
Elastane in the soft ribbed panel helps the shirt adapt to the dog's movement.
It is not a raincoat or a conventional winter jacket
PAIKKA Seawool Shirt is a warm textile shirt. It has no declared waterproof rating, taped seams or waterproof outer construction.
On its own, it is therefore most suitable for dry, cool weather. In rain, it needs a suitable waterproof outer layer.
How do I choose the size?
The most important measurement is the back length from the lower part of the neck between the shoulder blades to the base of the tail. Then also check the maximum neckline and chest measurement.
If the dog falls between two sizes, for Seawool Shirt it is recommended to choose the larger size. The back length can then be shortened by approximately 5 cm.
The exact GREEN version is also documented in size 70, but its secondary measurements are not listed in the published table for this colour variant. We therefore do not copy them from another colour.

Is the shirt warm?
