Non-stop dogwear Line Harness 5.0 is a lightweight, ergonomic and highly versatile short dog harness for everyday walks, trips, hiking and tracking. The Y-shaped neck allows the shoulders to move naturally, while the soft padding provides extra comfort even during longer use.
The adjustable chest strap and several leash attachment points make it easy to adapt the harness to your dog and the situation. If you are looking for one high-quality harness for most everyday activities, Line Harness 5.0 is one of our most frequently recommended models.
Enter your dog’s neck and chest circumference. Measure your dog while standing and do not pull the measuring tape too tight. Measure around the neck where the neck section of the harness will sit. Measure the widest part of the chest behind the front legs. Neck circumference is especially important for Line Harness 5.0. The neck section is not adjustable, while the chest strap is. Complete measurements for Line Harness 5.0. If your dog falls between two sizes, the manufacturer recommends choosing the larger size for small and medium dogs up to size 6. For size 7 and above, choose the smaller size. Size guide Calculator, measuring and size chart

Some harnesses are designed for one specific activity. Line Harness 5.0 is the exact opposite. Its greatest strength is versatility.
Use it for your morning walk, a full-day weekend trip, a mountain holiday or training where one of the additional leash attachment points can come in handy.
You do not need several different harnesses for every occasion.
The Y-shaped design gives the shoulders room to move naturally and helps reduce pressure around the airways.
Sizes 0–2 have 2 attachment points, while sizes 3 and above have 3.
Soft padding and a smooth inner surface help reduce the risk of chafing.
3M™ reflective details improve your dog's visibility from different angles.

The front of Line Harness 5.0 is shaped like a Y. The narrow chest section leaves plenty of room for natural shoulder movement while helping minimise restriction around the airways during activity.
This matters not only on hikes or longer trips, but also during an ordinary everyday walk.
A harness should not get in the dog's way. It should work with the dog's body.

With a harness designed for everyday use, the details matter.
Line Harness 5.0 is padded with closed-cell foam that absorbs very little water. The inside is designed without hard edges or protruding seams facing the dog's body.
This creates a smooth interior that collects less dirt and helps reduce the risk of chafing during longer wear.
It is one of those details you can barely see in a photo, but really appreciate in everyday use.

The aluminium D-ring is the classic choice for everyday walks, hiking and general use.

The lower loop is practical for a tracking line. Routing the line underneath the dog's body can help reduce tangling around the legs.

From size 3, a front attachment point is also available and can gently help with pulling control. It is not a substitute for leash-training, but can be useful in certain situations.

The neck section has a fixed size, while the chest circumference can be adjusted to suit the individual dog.

Slip the harness over the dog's head and fasten it easily on both sides of the chest. There is no need to lift the front legs through the harness.

Nylon ripstop, nylon webbing, closed-cell foam and Hypalon reinforcements are designed for regular use.

3M™ reflective details improve your dog's visibility at dusk and in the dark.
It is important to distinguish occasional light leash tension from intentional pulling work.
Line Harness 5.0 is not a specialised pulling harness. It can also be used for running, cycling or skiing as long as the dog is not actively pulling into the leash.
If your dog is intended to work actively in pull, a Rush Harness or Freemotion Harness 5.0 is a better choice.
You want one versatile harness for everyday life, walks, hiking and trips.

VIEW HARNESSWith Line Harness 5.0, choosing the correct neck size is particularly important.
A properly fitted harness should:
✓ allow free shoulder movement
✓ finish far enough behind the front legs
✓ not slide onto the shoulder blades
✓ not press against the throat
✓ not move excessively from side to side

For Line Harness 5.0, neck circumference is especially important when choosing the correct size. The chest strap is adjustable.
Line Harness 5.0 can be suitable for a puppy if it fits correctly.
Keep in mind that the neck section is not adjustable. A growing dog may therefore need a different size after a few months.
If you want more room for growth, Ramble Harness is a suitable alternative because both the neck and chest can be adjusted.
Some dogs do not like having a harness pulled over their head. There is no need to force them.
In the video, we show a simple method for teaching your dog to look forward to putting on a harness or coat and to actively cooperate.
According to the manufacturer, the harness can be machine washed at 40 °C.
Fasten the buckles and remove larger dirt before washing. Let it air dry afterwards and do not tumble dry.
Yes. Its ergonomic design and comfortable padding make it a good choice even for longer walks and hikes.
Yes. Versatile everyday use is one of its main strengths.
Not as the main pulling harness. If your dog is actively working in pull, choose Rush Harness or Freemotion Harness 5.0.
Yes, if it fits correctly. Because the neck circumference cannot be adjusted, a growing puppy may eventually need a larger size.
Line is a lightweight versatile harness. Ramble allows adjustment at both the neck and chest and also has a handle.
For example, for attaching a tracking line and routing it underneath the dog's body.
It can provide gentle assistance with pulling control, but it does not replace proper loose-leash training.
