About Us
How did SweetEnergy begin?
My name is Barbora Pulpánová (née Samková), and dogs have been part of my life since childhood.
I love dogs, sport and travelling – and SweetEnergy grew from bringing those things together. I compete in agility, run with my dogs, go for walks, trips and holidays with them, and get to know much of the gear through real everyday use.
From my first dog to my own online store
My first Border Collie, Blackie (*2008–2024), introduced me to dog sports. We competed in agility and flyball together and also tried dog dancing and dog frisbee.
With every new dog came more experience, training sessions, competitions and, of course, plenty of equipment that we actually used ourselves.
When I was expecting my first child, the idea of creating my own online store was born: a store that would connect my everyday life with dogs with my experience in dog sports and also allow customers to collect orders in person at selected agility events.
Our current pack
Three Border Collies who are behind much of the real-life experience that also shapes SweetEnergy.
The oldest member of the pack and my long-time partner in sport and everyday life.
Wacka’s son and another dog who helps us gain experience through sport, trips and everyday use of our gear.
The youngest member of the pack and a new generation of our sporting plans and adventures together.

We do not see products as just items in a catalogue. They are part of our training, trips, travels and everyday life with dogs.

We use, or have used, many of the products in our store with our own dogs. That means our advice can be based on practical, real-life experience.

We choose our range with everyday use in mind, whether for sport, travelling, walks or adventures together.

We enjoy discovering less common products and creating our own collections, designs and items you will not find everywhere.
Sweet Energy is more than an online store
Sweet Energy is also the name of our Border Collie kennel. So far, we have bred one litter. Breeding is not our main priority, though – our focus remains life with our dogs and dog sports.
Looking for something you cannot find?
In the past, I often had to search hard for interesting products or order them from abroad. If you are looking for something we do not currently stock, feel free to get in touch. If it makes sense for SweetEnergy, we will look into the options.
SweetEnergy grows out of life with dogs
Not only from catalogues and product specifications, but above all from training sessions, competitions, trips, travelling, rainy walks, muddy paws and everyday life with our pack.
