PAIKKA Visibility Raincoat EMERALD combines rain protection, a fully reflective outer surface with a colourful effect and a warm lining containing 30% natural wool.
It is designed for rainy and cooler days when you want to keep your dog dry while increasing visibility at dusk and in the dark. Multiple adjustment points allow the fit to be adapted to the individual dog's body shape.

Emerald colour that transforms in the light
PAIKKA uses reflective material across the entire outer surface of the raincoat. In normal light, the emerald shade stands out; when hit by light from car headlights or a headlamp, the surface glows strongly and creates a colourful to rainbow-like reflective effect.
Instead of only a few small reflective strips, practically the entire coat works as a reflective element.
For rain and cooler weather
Visibility Raincoat EMERALD is not only a highly visible reflective coat. It combines full rain protection with a lightly insulating inner layer.

The waterproof outer material protects the dog from rain, wet vegetation and damp weather.
Taped main seams
Help reduce water penetration where the individual sections of the raincoat are sewn together.
Lining with 30% wool
The wool blend adds thermal comfort and makes the raincoat suitable for cooler rainy weather as well.
High protective hood
The neck area can be tightened and raised as needed to better protect the neck from rain and wind.
Zippered harness opening
The harness can stay underneath the raincoat and the leash can be attached through the practical opening on the back.
Adjustable rear leg straps
Help keep the rear part of the raincoat in the correct position during running, wind and more active movement.
One cut, several adjustment options
You can adjust the neck area, hood, waist, back length and rear securing straps. This allows the raincoat to be adapted to different canine body types.
When choosing the size, start with the back length. PAIKKA states that the back length can be shortened by approximately 5 cm using the adjustment. For very slim or broad-chested dogs, check the other measurements as well.

Care
Machine wash at 30 °C on a gentle cycle, inside out and with similar colours. Do not bleach, use fabric softener or dry clean. Do not tumble dry or iron.
Frequently asked questions
Is the whole raincoat reflective?
Yes. The entire main outer material is reflective. When hit by light, it creates a strong colourful reflective effect.
Is EMERALD insulated?
The raincoat has a lining made from 70% acrylic and 30% wool, so it provides greater thermal comfort than an unlined raincoat. However, it is not a heavy winter coat.
Can the dog wear a harness under the raincoat?
Yes. There is a zippered opening on the back through which the leash can be attached to a harness worn underneath the raincoat.
How do I choose the size?
Start with the back length from the area between the shoulder blades to the base of the tail. The coat length can be shortened by approximately 5 cm. For slim and broad-chested dogs, we recommend checking the neck and chest circumference as well.
