The original adjustable pulling harness for canicross, bikejoring, skijoring and other activities with the pulling point above the dog.

Product detailed description
The harness where the Freemotion story began
The original Freemotion Harness is a long pulling harness for canicross, bikejoring, scooterjoring and skijoring.
Its construction was developed to allow the dog to use its shoulders more freely under load, maintain room for breathing and distribute pulling force across a larger part of the body.
Free shoulders
The design leaves the front legs room to move while pulling.
Adjustable fit
The length and side straps can be adjusted to suit the individual dog's build.
500D nylon
Durable material designed for regular sporting use.
Reflective details
Integrated reflective details help increase the dog's visibility.
Created because the pulling harnesses available at the time restricted movement and breathing
Freemotion is one of the products on which Non-stop dogwear built its reputation in the world of pulling sports.
The original design was developed while searching for a harness that would allow a racing dog more natural shoulder movement and freer breathing while pulling.
This fundamental principle was later carried over into the modernised Freemotion Harness 5.0 generation.
Canicross and bikejoring require a different cut from everyday walking
Freemotion is designed for activities where the leash runs from the dog upwards towards the runner, bike or skier.
When the line is taut, its long construction moves into its working position and distributes the pulling force across the dog's chest and body.
It is therefore not intended as a universal harness for ordinary walks on a slack leash.
Canicross
For running with a dog that actively works in pull.
Bikejoring
A long harness for a dog pulling in front of a bike.
Scooterjoring
The same high pulling-point principle as with a bike.
Skijoring
For a dog working in pull in front of a cross-country skier.
With a pulling harness, choosing the right number alone is not enough
The first measurement for choosing a size is neck circumference. The neck section must sit securely because a large part of the pulling force is transferred through it.
Once the harness is on, the side straps and overall harness length also need to be adjusted. When the line is taut, the rear pulling point should sit in the correct position behind the dog's body.
The original Freemotion has a wider size range of 2–10
At SweetEnergy, it is currently available in sizes 2 to 10, covering a neck circumference of approximately 26 to 64 cm.
Durable nylon and padding that does not absorb water
The original Freemotion uses 500D nylon and nylon webbing.
The padding is made from closed-cell foam, which does not absorb water. The inner sections are designed to avoid unnecessarily hard edges against the dog's body.
The sides feature integrated 3M™ reflective details.
The same basic purpose. A different generation of construction.
