How to measure your dog
Your dog should stand naturally and straight. Do not pull the measuring tape tight.
Main measurement: Choose the size primarily according to back length, then check neck and chest measurements where listed.
Between two sizes: Choose the larger size and use the adjustments to fine-tune the fit.

Rain protection without unnecessary warmth.
PAIKKA Visibility Raincoat Lite PETROL is a lightweight waterproof dog raincoat that combines a 10,000 mm waterproof rating, a fully reflective outer surface and a lightweight mesh lining.
It is suitable for warmer rainy days as well as active dogs that need protection from wet conditions but do not need an additional warming layer.

The Lite version uses a lightweight 100% polyester mesh lining. Compared with the standard Visibility Raincoat with a wool-blend lining, it therefore adds significantly less thermal insulation.
This makes it suitable for spring, summer and autumn, as well as active dogs that warm up quickly during movement and primarily need protection from water and wind.
Functional protection for truly wet weather
Low weight does not mean compromising on rain protection. Raincoat Lite uses a waterproof outer material, taped main seams and a protective hood.

Help reduce water penetration through the places where the individual sections of the raincoat are sewn together.
Lightweight mesh lining
It is made from 100% polyester, dries quickly and does not add an unnecessary thermal layer.

The neck area can be adjusted and raised for better protection from rain and wind.
Zippered harness opening
The harness can stay underneath the raincoat and the leash can be attached through the opening on the back.

Help keep the rear part of the coat in the correct position during movement and in windy conditions.

PETROL has a distinctive petrol shade, but its most interesting effect appears when direct light hits it. The entire main outer material strongly reflects light and creates the characteristic colourful to rainbow-like reflective effect.
So it is not only strips or a small logo that are reflective – practically the entire coat works as a reflective surface.
How to choose the size?
The most important measurement is the back length from the area between the shoulder blades to the base of the tail. Then check the neck and chest circumference as well.
The measurements in the chart represent maximum values and can be reduced using the adjustments. If the dog falls between two sizes, for this model it is recommended to choose the larger size.

Care
Machine wash at 30 °C on a gentle cycle, inside out and with similar colours. Do not bleach, use fabric softener or dry clean. Do not tumble dry or iron.

What is the difference between Raincoat Lite and the standard Visibility Raincoat?
The Lite version has a lightweight 100% polyester mesh lining. The standard Visibility Raincoat uses a warmer wool-blend lining. Lite therefore warms the dog significantly less.
Is the entire outer material reflective?
Yes. The reflective effect is created by the entire main outer material, not only individual strips.
Can the dog wear a harness underneath the raincoat?
Yes. There is a zippered opening on the back through which the leash can be attached to the harness underneath the raincoat.
What if the dog falls between two sizes?
For Visibility Raincoat Lite, the larger size is recommended when the dog is between sizes. Then check the neck and chest circumference as well.
Is PETROL suitable for warmer rainy weather too?
Yes. The lightweight mesh lining is precisely the main advantage of the Lite version. The raincoat protects against wet conditions without adding a significant warming layer.

Do správné velikosti jsme se trefili až na potřetí, protože naše klobáskovitá pouliční směska má opravdu atypické proporce. Paní byla po celou dobu velmi vstřícná a chápavá.
