A waterproof, stretchy softshell coat for active dogs that do not want rain or cooler weather to slow them down. SporttiPomppa combines high rain protection with breathable, elastic material and a close-fitting cut that moves together with the dog.
Side water-resistant zipper makes dressing easier, the waist can be tightened inside the coat to suit the dog's build, and reflective trim around the entire garment helps make the dog more visible in poor light.

The key measurement is the back length from the withers to the base of the tail. Your dog should stand upright in a natural position. Back measure from the withers – where the neck meets the back – to the base of the tail. Measure the neck at its widest point near the chest, the chest around the widest part of the rib cage and the waist at the narrowest part of the abdomen. For thick coats, allow room for the fur. SporttiPomppa has a close-fitting cut The material is stretchy, but not as elastic as JumppaPomppa. If your dog is between two sizes, Pomppa recommends choosing the larger size. Always check the neck, chest and waist as well. The harness is worn over the coat SporttiPomppa does not have a harness opening. POMPPA SPORTTIPOMPPA
Softshell for a dog that wants to keep moving even in the rain.
SporttiPomppa is a stretchy waterproof softshell coat designed for active dogs and three-season use from autumn through winter to spring.
The close fit, elastic materials and side zipper keep the coat close to the body even during fast movement, while the technical softshell protects against rain, wind and cold.

A waterproof JumppaPomppa? That is roughly how Sportti was born.
SporttiPomppa belongs to the same family as JumppaPomppa and follows a similar idea: the garment should fit the body more closely and stay in place even during active movement.
Instead of fleece, however, it uses technical waterproof softshell, adding protection against rain and wind. Pomppa itself describes it as a “waterproof JumppaPomppa”.

The softshell material has a declared waterproof rating of 10,000 mm and the manufacturer also rates it for use in heavier rain.

The declared breathability is 10,000 g/m²/24 h, which is especially important during active movement.
PFC-free DWR
The fabric surface has a PFC-free water-repellent DWR treatment.
Wind protection
The softshell construction also helps protect the dog from cold wind.
Medium warmth – without heavy winter insulation
Pomppa classifies SporttiPomppa as Medium warmth. Warmth comes from the technical softshell itself with its soft inner surface.
It is not a heavily insulated winter coat like PerusPomppa or ToppaPomppa. Its strength is the combination of weather protection, medium warmth and good mobility.

SporttiPomppa is designed so that the close-fitting cut stays in place without straps around the rear legs.
Long side zipper instead of pulling over the head
SporttiPomppa uses a long side zipper with water-resistant construction. This makes dressing the close-fitting garment considerably easier.
Together with the Slim fit, the zipper helps keep SporttiPomppa on the body so it should not twist or shift freely during movement.
The waist is genuinely adjustable
Inside the coat there is an adjustment system for changing the waist circumference. Tightening it allows SporttiPomppa to fit especially slimmer dogs more closely.
For male dogs, proper waist adjustment can also help position the lower part of the garment.
Reflective trim around the entire garment
Along the edge of SporttiPomppa runs reflective tape all the way around. When illuminated, it helps make the dog's silhouette more visible from different directions.
It is not a fully reflective material; the correct description is 360° reflective trim.
Harness yes – but over the coat
SporttiPomppa does not have a harness opening. Its construction is very close-fitting, and Pomppa recommends wearing the harness directly over the garment.
If you want to route the leash attachment through an opening in the back of the coat, SporttiPomppa is not constructed that way.
How to choose the right size?
Pomppa selects the size primarily according to back length from the withers to the base of the tail. With SporttiPomppa, however, the close fit makes it important to subsequently check the neck, chest and waist as well.
SporttiPomppa does stretch, but less than JumppaPomppa. If the dog is between two sizes, the manufacturer recommends the larger option.

Note on recycled materials
Current Pomppa product pages state a high share of recycled materials for SporttiPomppa. However, older production documentation for Graphite, Pink and Arctic does not consistently identify the material as recycled.
Therefore, on this shared product page we state the exact percentage material composition, but we do not automatically label every item as made from 94% recycled materials.
Care
Wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and similar colours. Close the zipper before washing.
Do not use fabric softener or bleach, do not tumble dry and do not iron.
After a muddy walk, Pomppa recommends brushing dirt out of the zipper. After washing, reactivate the water-repellent finish and, after several washes, renew the DWR as needed with a suitable waterproofing product.

What is the breathability?
The manufacturer states 10,000 g/m²/24 h. This also makes SporttiPomppa suitable for more active movement.
Is SporttiPomppa a winter coat?
Pomppa classifies it as Medium warmth and recommends it for autumn, winter and spring. However, it does not have heavy insulation like classic winter models. Suitability for low temperatures therefore depends on the dog's coat, activity and individual cold tolerance.
Does it have a harness opening?
No. Pomppa recommends wearing the harness over SporttiPomppa.
Does it have rear leg straps?
No. The close fit and side zipper are designed to keep the garment in place without rear fixing straps.
Can the coat circumference be adjusted?
Yes. SporttiPomppa has an internal drawcord that lets you adjust the waist circumference and fit the coat better, especially on slimmer dogs.

Start with the back length, then check the neck, chest and waist. SporttiPomppa has a Slim fit and is less stretchy than JumppaPomppa. If your dog is between two sizes, the manufacturer recommends the larger one.

Obleček používám pro chlupatou šeltii, která už má svůj věk. Do mrazů na procházky, do menší zimy na čekání v autě. Obleček sice nemá gumičky na zadní nohy, ale krásně sedí, ani v pohybu se nehne, nikam neklouže. Má pravdu vysoký límec, který sahá až za uši a dobře kryje krk. Jedinou nevýhodou za mě je, že obleček nelze nikde nastavit. Takže musí dobře sednout, jinak se nedá upravit.
