Product detailed description
When the dog should do the pulling – not your lower back
CaniX belt 2.0 is a lightweight ergonomic running belt designed for canicross and other activities where your dog pulls in front of you.
Its construction guides the pull lower around the hips, while the sliding carabiner follows the dog's movement from side to side. This means the pull does not have to remain concentrated in one fixed point, even when the dog is not running directly in front of you.
Sliding carabiner
Follows the dog's side-to-side movement and helps distribute the pull more evenly around the hips.
Low pull position
The construction is designed to help maintain a more natural body position while running.
0.5 l pocket
Expandable pocket for a phone, keys, waste bags or other small essentials.
Stays in place
Silicone elements on the inside help keep the belt in position.
The carabiner is not fixed in one place
The front carabiner moves along the strap from one side of the belt to the other.
When the dog moves sideways or runs through a turn, the carabiner follows the movement so the pull is not transferred through one fixed point all the time.
The manufacturer uses this system so that pressure remains more balanced around the hips and the runner can maintain balance and contact with the dog more easily.
Non-slip inner surface and adjustable straps
A running belt should not fit well only while you are standing still. It must remain stable while running and when the direction of pull changes.
CaniX belt 2.0 therefore combines silicone anti-slip elements with adjustable thigh straps.
The belt also offers several adjustment options, allowing you to adapt it to your body shape and preferred running position.
Your phone no longer has to bounce around in your hand
The rear pocket has a capacity of up to 0.5 litres and closes with a zip.
It fits a phone, keys, dog waste bags or other small items you want to carry while running.
The larger pocket is one of the main improvements over the original CaniX belt, which had significantly less storage space.
Choose according to waist circumference
Even the heaviest size weighs only 233 grams
Depending on size, CaniX belt 2.0 weighs only 196 to 233 grams.
The materials are selected with low weight, functionality and regular sporting use in mind. The inner construction also remains relatively slim.
You will appreciate this during canicross, but also for example when hiking with a backpack, when you do not want another bulky belt underneath the backpack's hip belt.
Primarily canicross. But not only that.
Canicross
The activity CaniX belt 2.0 was specifically designed for.
Dog trekking and hiking
Its low weight and slim profile also work well for longer activities with your dog.
Skijoring
According to the manufacturer, the belt can also be used for cross-country skiing with a dog.
Safe leash connection is already included
CaniX belt 2.0 comes with a lightweight screw-lock carabiner.
Its stated strength is 300 kg and the carabiner opening allows up to two Bungee leash lines to be attached.
The carabiner can also be replaced with another compatible connection point if needed.
Materials ready for regular sport
A shock-absorbing leash and pulling harness complete the system
CaniX belt 2.0 is one part of the system that connects runner and dog during canicross.
CaniX belt 2.0 is the more practical all-round option
Both versions use a similar principle for distributing the pull and a sliding leash connection.
CaniX belt 2.0 has more padding and a practical 0.5 l pocket, making it very suitable for regular training, longer runs and everyday use.
CaniX belt Pro is even lighter and more minimalist, with a construction focused mainly on race performance.
Hand wash up to 30 °C
The manufacturer recommends hand washing at 30 °C.
After sport, allow the belt to air dry and regularly check the straps, buckles and carabiner.
