Product detailed description
A lightweight leash for everyday adventures together
Some essentials deserve a permanent place in your bag. The Non-stop dogwear Trail quest leash combines low weight, compact packing and reliable attachment in a simple fixed-length lead. It is made for daily walks, city outings and relaxed adventures on the trail.
This leash measures 2 m in length, 15 mm in width and weighs 81 g. Its slim profile is especially appealing for puppies and smaller dogs, while the manufacturer also considers it strong enough for everyday use with dogs of all sizes.
Four details you will appreciate on every walk
Screw-lock carabiner
The small aluminium carabiner is secured by twisting its screw-lock after clipping on. The swivel allows the webbing to follow your dog’s movement and helps reduce tangling.
Neoprene-padded handle
Soft padding makes the handle comfortable to hold, even on longer walks. You get a pleasant grip without a bulky handle.
Loop for small essentials
A small loop at the base of the handle can hold a waste-bag dispenser or another light accessory you want close at hand.
Who is it for, and when is it useful?
This fixed-length 2 m dog leash is a versatile everyday essential. It works especially well in the following situations:
For puppies and small dogs
The narrow webbing and low weight avoid unnecessary bulk. Always check that the carabiner is compatible with your dog’s particular collar or harness.
For everyday walks
Two metres offer some freedom for sniffing, while still allowing you to keep your dog closer when the surroundings call for it.
For hiking and travel
The compact webbing fits easily in a pocket or backpack, making it practical to carry as a spare lead.
Technical specifications
Specifications provided by Non-stop dogwear for the standard Trail quest leash:
| Length | 2 m |
|---|---|
| Webbing width | 15 mm |
| Weight | 81 g |
| Tensile strength | 300 kg (manufacturer specification) |
| Webbing material | Polyester |
| Handle padding | Neoprene |
| Carabiner | Aluminium, swivel-mounted, with screw-lock |
| Colour and size | Ice blue · 15 mm / 2 m |
The stated 300 kg tensile strength is a technical specification of the leash, not a recommended maximum dog weight. Safe use also depends on correct attachment, equipment condition and checking that the lock is secured.
How to use the leash
Clip on
Attach the carabiner to a secure ring on your dog’s collar or harness and make sure it is correctly seated.
Lock
Twist the screw-lock until it is properly secured. Check it again before each walk.
Head out
Hold the neoprene-padded loop and give your dog space to suit the setting. Use the accessory loop for light items only.
Materials and care
Polyester webbing is paired with a neoprene-padded handle and aluminium carabiner. Hand wash, or machine wash at 30 °C inside a laundry bag. Do not tumble dry; allow the leash to air dry after washing.
Check the webbing, stitching and screw-lock regularly for wear and damage. Do not use a damaged leash.Frequently asked questions
Is it suitable for puppies?
Yes. The low weight, 15 mm webbing and small carabiner are especially practical for puppies and smaller dogs. Always check compatibility with your dog’s collar or harness.
Can larger dogs use it?
The manufacturer describes it as suitable for everyday use with dogs of all sizes. The 300 kg tensile-strength figure is not a maximum dog weight and does not guarantee suitability for every type of load.
Is it elastic like a canicross leash?
No. The Trail quest leash is a standard fixed-length 2 m lead, not a bungee pulling leash designed for canicross.
How does the screw-lock carabiner work?
After clipping on, twist the screw-lock into the closed position and check it before setting out. The swivel attachment helps prevent the webbing from twisting.
What is the small loop near the handle for?
It is designed for a waste-bag dispenser or another light accessory, not for attaching a second dog or carrying heavy items.
A lightweight lead you will want close at hand
The Trail quest leash combines a useful 2 m length, comfortable neoprene handle and secure screw-lock carabiner in a slim, packable design. Ready for walks, short hikes and everyday discoveries with your dog.
